Sol Pilates offers Pilates classes in Amersham, Little Chalfont, Chesham and surrounding areas, to groups and individuals following the Body Control Pilates method. Whatever your background or level of fitness, Pilates is a great discipline that will strengthen your body and calm your mind.
Why Pilates?
Pilates is an excellent body-mind conditioning that focuses on correct body alignment, strengthening the core and increasing flexibility. If we don’t pay attention to our bodies, bad posture and incorrect muscle recruitment patterns can develop overtime, leading to body aches and pains.
Pilates retrains the deep intrinsic muscles responsible for good posture and encourages a natural range of movement of the joints. The results are healthier joints, a lengthened spine, better posture, a strong core, a toned body, and a sense of wellbeing that you will carry all day!
The Body Control Pilates Method is based on the work of Joseph Pilates (1883-1967), who developed a series of ‘classical’ exercises that attracted leading ballet dancers, actresses and elite athletes. These classical exercises are generally too advanced for the average person and it might take years to perfection them. So we break them down to reap the full benefits of Pilates and to build the best possible foundation upon which to progress towards the classical, more advanced work.

Group classes are limited to 12 spaces to ensure that you receive my personal attention, and reap the full benefits of each exercise.
There are three types of Pilates classes, Beginners Pilates, Mixed ability Pilates and HIP Pilates
Classes are face to face and online.
Private Sessions

Private Pilates sessions are a great opportunity to develop your Pilates skills with a programme of exercises tailored to your specific needs.
These sessions can be in the form of 1:1’s or 1:2’s, or for a small group of friends who want to exercise together.
Pregnancy Classes
